Recent Projects

NY Chinatown

With the rise of xenophobia amidst the ongoing pandemic, I wanted to help out New York’s Chinese community. Combining my love of food (dim sum I miss you) and my analytical mind, I created a map as a resource that tracks open restaurants, stores, and pharmacies in New York’s Chinatown in attempt to alleviate the plummeting sales for the community. This was created in collaborations with @explorechinatown and #SupportChinatown. Check out my map of Chinatown and #supportlocal! (March – August 2020)

Lockdown Livestream

Music has a way of curing the soul. Personally, it’s been one of the primary tools in helping me get through this unprecedented time of COVID-19. I realized I was constantly searching for artist livestreams, either having just missed it, not being aware of it, or couldn’t keep track of all the platforms. I decided to make a Lockdown Livestream calendar that auto-populates from form responses, whether it’s myself or my audiophile friends. Still a work in progress, but hey, I guess we have the time right? (March & April 2020)
